Editorial Policy

As a media site that turns comparisons and reviews into a product, Visual AI Lab prioritizes editorial independence and transparency above all. We eliminate influence from sponsors and evaluated companies, and promise to provide evidence readers can trust.

Editorial independence

Evaluation methods are fixed before testing begins. We do not change evaluation criteria after testing to accommodate a sponsor.
Sponsors are only allowed to confirm product specifications and factual matters.
Sponsors are not given the right to change evaluation comments, scores or rankings.
When a sponsor is also a comparison target, we clearly state that fact.
We apply the same generation conditions and common prompts to competing models, including non-sponsors.
Exclusion and failure conditions are defined in advance and published to readers.

Relationship with sponsors and advertising

Where content involves advertising fees, sponsorship, API credit, affiliate links or PR, we display labels such as “Sponsored by”, “PR”, “Provided by” or “This post contains affiliate links” near the article title or in a dedicated sponsor disclosure.

We do not change scores or rankings in exchange for advertising fees, hide unfavorable results, or give sponsors control over evaluation methods, scores or conclusions.

Comparison transparency

Each comparison shows its evaluation type: “Baseline / Common Prompt”, “Model-Optimized” or “Production Workflow”.
We record and publish prompts, input images, generation conditions, model versions, API routes, generation dates, resolution, duration, quality settings and reroll counts.
When only the best outputs are shown, we state the selection criteria.
Reviews that evaluate average performance do not exclude failure examples.

Corrections, takedowns and feedback

If published content contains errors, we correct it and keep a changelog.
Factual correction requests from model providers are verified and handled appropriately.
Reader objections or concerns are accepted via `/en/contact` or email, and verified results are published.
Where legal or ethical issues arise, the relevant content may be revised, taken down or archived.
